One of the aims is to awaken the creativity through dance, through special exercises and through play

These sessions are fun and a direct and simple way for each person to connect with themselves, with others and with the world.

These three levels being very important levels through which we live our lives.

The sessions are facilitated with care and are a healthy way to explore the art of movement, the emotional well-being and to relearn and discover your dance of life.

THE SENIOR MILONGA (A dance project for the elderly)

tango_therapy_22

This is a project of dance movement therapy and its application to a group of elderly people.

Dance movement therapy for the elderly provides a real foundation for health enhancing experiences with life. Susan Stockley says:

“Older people may feel that their lives have shrunk or fallen apart and that they are just waiting for death. Making activities such as dance movement therapy available for the older population can help to provide a structure and possibly a meaning to living out one’s final years of life.” (Payne, Dance Movement Therapy: Theory and Practice, 1992, p. 89)
